Refund and Returns Policy

๐ŸŽ“ 1. Professional Education Services

AGC of Utah provides live in-person classes, live webinar sessions, and pre-recorded (on-demand) continuing education courses. By purchasing a course, you agree to the specific attendance and completion requirements mandated by the relevant state regulatory bodies.

๐Ÿšซ 2. No Refund Policy & Final Sales

Due to the digital nature of our curriculum, the administrative scheduling of live instructors, and the physical logistics of our in-person events, all sales are final.

  • Live In-Person Classes: Registrations are completely non-refundable. We do not offer refunds should you choose to complete your education with another provider or find a different price elsewhere.
  • Webinars & Pre-recorded Courses: No refunds will be issued once the purchase is completed.

๐Ÿ“… 3. Live Webinar & In-Person Rescheduling

We understand that professional schedules can change. If you have a scheduling conflict, we can move your date for attendance under the following conditions:

  • Notice Requirement: You must provide at least 24 hours of advanced notice prior to the scheduled start time of your webinar or in-person class.
  • Rescheduling Fee: A non-refundable rescheduling fee applies to all transfers. For in-person classes, this fee helps account for costs already incurred, such as pre-ordered lunches and reserved seats that can no longer be resold to another student.
  • CE Cycle Limitation: Rescheduling is only permitted for courses held within the current continuing education (CE) two-year renewal cycle. Credits or registrations cannot be rolled over into the following cycle. For example, if a student misses a class in 2027, they will not receive credit or carry-over privileges for 2029.

๐Ÿ”„ 4. Utah CE Cycle & Makeup Sessions

In accordance with the Utah CE two-year renewal cycle, and the strict state requirement that at least half of all CE must be completed live (via webinar or in-person), our options for makeup sessions after the deadline or CE season has ended are highly limited.

  • Limited Makeup Availability: For students who fall short of their required hours, we can typically arrange up to 3 hours of makeup coursework. However, we do not guarantee the availability of these accommodations.
  • Courseware Content: Because makeup options are restricted, students will have no say or control over the specific material or topics covered in any provided makeup courseware.
  • Biennial Curriculum Updates: Our course content is updated every two years to align with the Utah CE cycle.
  • Expiration of Content: If a student fails to complete a provided makeup session within the current biennial cycle, that content will be retired and no longer available.

โš ๏ธ Important Note on Forfeiture: Failure to complete the makeup session before the curriculum is swapped out results in the forfeiture of the course fee and credit. It is the studentโ€™s responsibility to ensure completion before the end of the current cycle.

โœ… 5. Certification of Completion & DOPL Reporting

We upload continuing education hours directly to the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL) within 5-7 business days after the posted class date.

  • Attendance-Based Credit: Credits are uploaded based strictly on attendance. If a student only attends half of the day, we will only upload half of the credit hours to DOPL.
  • No Partial Compensation: We do not offer refunds, discounts, or compensation for partial credits earned due to incomplete attendance.
  • Incomplete Courses & Rescheduling: Students who fail to complete their required hours and wish to attend another session to finish may be charged rescheduling fees. Certificates of completion will only be issued once a course is fully completed.
